Small update - we're about to test two harder materials for the carriages so they do not crack. The new materials are POM and PC+fibers. The current ones we have shipped are PC (polycarbonate). The cracking that some (very few users) have experienced happens during shipping from the boxes being thrown around by USPS we've found out.

These will hopefully be available in about 2 weeks once we finish testing.

We're waiting to receive new samples this week as we had to tweak the material. We will announce once they're available.

Wondering if this will also fix the cracking that happens with the clips at the ends of these carriages?

Is there a way to revert to the previous system while we wait?

Thank you. Mine arrived today. =) Re-watching the steps from before. Any special tips for disassembly and re-assembly?

I was just printing something today, and I looked at my printer as it was at 95% through a print, and I saw some spaghetti. Looks like one of my carriages has snapped as well, rendering my printer unusable (not to mention my 95% printed print). Would I be able to get some of these harder carriages as well?

All together and first print completed. Thanks! Did note this though.

We have to do that to get z back to correct, right. I also noted that when I ran the autocalibrate it did not do the many point calibration. Always just the middle and then home Z. Is that the new norm with V2?

If anyone is looking for the calibration code it Send M119 and check for Probe 1 (just a heads up, it used to fit on the pronterface (cura) screen, but now you have to scroll to see it. Then send

    play /sd/auto_calibration.gcode

    Thanks.

    Mike

Hi Mike, it says in the second sentence of #5 about the auto-calibration. Please read carefully :)
