I was having very poor print quality. Here are 2 pictures to show it off. Both were printed with the same file.
    before fix...

    This weighs 2.00 grams.

    And after.

    And this weighs 3.71 grams.

It turned out the filament feed drive wheel was full of plastic. This came about after printing lots of geckos in standard PLA.
My normal filament is PolyMax and it is stronger so does not grind off and clog the works.

It is worth while checking for plastic buildup on the drive!

The "fix" above did not completely alleviate the problem.
I finally got around to fixing it. During my testing, pushing some filament through by hand, at one time two streams came out! So there was some junk in the tip. After pulling the hot end to bits a couple of times, and heating it up, I managed to clean it out with a twist drill from the top for the wide hole, and a bit of wire wrap wire for the orifice. Also, I added a washer inside to make sure there was no gap between the metal and the Teflon liner. All look ok now :)
